The box is a 2 port fiber optic outlet used to joint drop cable and pigtail in home or office. It usually works as the termination point for optical fibre to realize the connection of drop cable and optical device through fiber optic patch cords in living room or desktop. It offers mechanical/fusion splicing, termination, splices protection functions, and mainly used in apartment, residential buildings, villas, and small workplaces in FTTH, FTTD systems. The optical wall plate adapts the open or concealed cabling , and can be mounted in the wall or electrical junction box.

The fiber optic outlet box comes with 2 external adapter ports, supporting up to 2 cores splice. It is of ABS plastic providing mechanical protection for splices and terminations; internal routing allows for the slack management and reasonable fiber bend radius; 3 cable access point from the front and bottom which gives a high flexibility of deployment; It enables fiber access to end-users’ home by connecting the jumper to adapter ports of the terminal box.
