The 4 port fiber socket panel is used as termination point to interconnect incoming cable with ONU device in FTTH, FTTB applications, and it is normally placed near building or home’s central distribution point provided by the broadband provider. The optical termination outlet is widely used for wall mounted or desktop applications in residential and small business premises.
