ST pigtail is a cable with high-grade ST fiber optic connector on one end, another end unterminated. They can configure single mode and multimode fiber cable for the specific application. These ST pigtail Assemblies are available in UPC, APC polish with simplex or duplex fiber cable versions. Cable length, cable diameter, and jacket are optional. The typical type of fiber pigtail most uses 0.9mm cable, because it is especially suitable for high-density splice application.
Fiber Pigtail is utilized to achieve accurate mounting for precision alignment of fiber optical components. Fiber optic pigtails provide a fast way to link communication devices, mostly used to terminate fiber optic cable by fusion or mechanical splicing. And the pigtails are usually found in ODF, fiber distribution box and terminal box, etc. They are widely used in CATV, FTTH/FTTX, LAN/WAN network, and more.
