OTDR Fiber Launch Cables

OTDR launch cable, also known as launch cord, launch lead, receive cable, or fiber delay line. It is designed to aid in the testing of fiber optic cables. The fiber launch box can help minimize the effect of the OTDR launch pulse on measurement uncertainty. By using a launch cable at the beginning of the test fiber and a receive cable at the end of the test fiber, loss measurements can be made along the entire length of the fiber.

Our OTDR launch cable can accommodate fiber lengths from 150m to 2000m. Connector style (SC, LC, FC, ST, E2000) and fiber cable type (single mode, multimode) are optional.
